Apprentices are Kits 6 moons or older, training to become a Warrior (or Medicine Cat if they want) and have a warrior as their mentor, to teach them everything from hunting prey, to fighting with their lives for the clan. All the apprentices have paw as their last name, though when they become warriors, they have a more unique name. After the training, the leader will have a naming ceremony and get their new last name. Apprentices usually hunt for the Elders, clear away their bedding, and use mouse bile for their ticks. Apprentices sleep in the Apprentices Den.
